During the weekend of December 6th to 8th, Santa Clauses will be roaming, the Barbara Quartet will entertain guests, and sheep will be shorn. Detailed timings can be seen below:
Santa Clauses will visit the park on Friday, December 6th, 17:30 PM to 18:30.
Sheep will be shorn on Saturday, December 7th, from 15:30 to 19:00. Jón, a farmer from Mófellsstaðakot, will handle the shears, and people from Ullarselið in Hvanneyri will process the wool on the spot. The Barbara Quartet will entertain guests with sweet tunes on Saturday, December 7th, from 17:30 PM to 18:30.
The park will be open until 20:00 all weekend (Friday to Sunday) with free admission from 17:00, courtesy of Hverfið mitt.
During the evening openings, it will be possible to ride the carousel, visit the animals, enjoy food trucks in the park, listen to Christmas music, and experience the festive atmosphere created by hundreds of thousands of Christmas lights throughout the park.
