The Adventure Palace of the Children’s Culture Festival

Th Children’s Culture Festival begins today (April 8t) and continues until next sunday (April 13th).

The Adventure Palace has moved between different neighborhoods throughout the city over the years, and this year it will be held at the Reykjavík Family Park & Zoo up coming weekend (12th and 13th of April). The event promises plenty of fun and excitement, and admission is free.

A diverse program for children and their families will run from 10:30am to 4:30pm both days. Activities will include family yoga, scavenger hunts, hillside singing, dancing, circus performances and children’s karaoke, among others. Visitors can also enjoy the animals at the zoo.

The Family Park is easily accessible by public transportation, with bus routes 2, 5, 15 and 17 stopping nearest to the park. The bus stop is called Laugardalshöll. Cycling and walking paths lead to Laugardalur from all directions, and bike racks are available at the Family Park entrance. Parking at the Family Park is free. Fully accessible to all visitors.
