It is time for the staff in education and reception of school groups to switch gears. Next week, starting May 12th, we will offer pop-up stations on weekdays for the rest of the school year instead of receiving school groups for standard tours and programs.
The pop-up stations will be at 10:15 and 11:15 every weekday and the topic will be decided depending on the number of guests and the weather. All guests are welcome to listen at each station. Information about where the pop-up is each day will be provided at the zoo reception desk.
School groups are welcome to inform us if they will attend by sending us an email at namskeid@husdyragardur.is but it is not mandatory. Opening hours are from 10-17.
In the coming weeks the number of guests increases a lot at the zoo and we are therefore able to educate more guests by having these pop-up stations.
