On Ascension Day (May 9) and the weekend of May 11 and 12, the carousel Heiðrún and the rocking ship Elliði will be open from 12pm to 4:30pm, but the park’s opening hours are every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Access to the playground equipment is included in the entrance fee.
Summer opening in the Family park and Zoo begins on June 1st, and then the opening hours will be extended by an hour, and from that day it will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Attractions / rides that require staff will be open every day of the week from June 1.
Until the summer opening, however, the aim is to have some attractions open on weekends and other holidays from 12 to 4:30 p.m.
The restaurant in the park this summer is in the hands of Bæjarins Beztu, and they have already started the summer opening hours. It is now open every day during park opening hours.
