Fall break 2024

Our Gyrfalcon, Ljúfa, will be fed and trained at 14:00 during this fall break and families can try out our treasure hunt game on our app!
This weekend – 19th and 20th of October

The park and zoo will be open from 10:00 to 17:00 and the carousel and train will be open from 12:00 to 17:00.
This weekend- 5th and 6th of October

The carousel and train will be open from 12:00-17:00 and animals will be fed according to our routine feeding schedule.
Changes at the restaurant

Bæjarins Beztu are temporarily closing their shop in the zoo, food and beverages will now be sold at the zoo entrance.
Sheep from Strandir and goats from Hvítársíða

Zoo staff visited farmers at Heydalsá and Háafell to pick up new sheep and goats.

Rides open every weekend in September

The drop tower, train and carousal will be open every weekend in September from 12:00-17:00.

Open every day from 10am to 5pm from August 19th and attractions that requires staff will be open on weekends until late fall.
