The park will be open all Whitsunday weekend from 10am to 5pm. The animals will be in their place and the program around them is traditional (see below). We ask visitors to be considerate around the newborn lambs as well as other residents of the park. Fertilizer was recently applied to the pastures, and they are therefore not ready for grazing and the animals are mostly inside, although they all go out during the cleaning in the morning before the park opens.
The carousel and Elliði (the rocking ship) will be open from 12pm to 4:30pm all weekend (May 18th to 20th) and Bæjarins Beztu restaurant will be open. Access to the attractions is included in the entrance fee. Please note that earlier the hammer had been said to be open but unfortunately that is not the case.
The park’s summer opening begins on Saturday, June 1st, and from that day all playground attractions will be open every day of the week until August 18th, when the winter opening begins again. Until then, some playground attractions will be open on weekends and other holidays.
