A whooper swan is staying at Reykjavik Park & Zoo after his injuries were cared for. It is likely the swan injured itself in the bad weather earlier this month.
Guðmundur Fylkisson, the spokesperson for Project Henry brought the swan to the zoo, where she got the care and time she needed to recover. Now the swan waits to be ready to fly away but he gets to decide that himself. It is thought that the bird is a male swan and he has been given the name Viðar.
