The rides are open every day from May 31st

The Reykjavik Park and Zoo switches gears on May 31st when the summer season officially begins, extending opening hours and making all rides and attractions available every day.
The lambing season has come to an end.

Lambing Season came to an end on Ascension Day (May 29) When the Ewe Kylja Gave Birth to Two Lambs – a Black-Spotted Ram and a Black Ewe Lamb.
Summer courses (2025) for 10-12 year old children

Summer courses for 10- to 12-year-old children (born 2013 – 2015) will be offered at the zoo next summer (2025).
Sheep shorn

Sheep will be sheared on Sunday, March 9th.
The turkey pair Flóki and Flækja

There are two new inhabitants at the zoo, a pair of turkeys called Flóki and Flækja. Turkeys have previously lived at the zoo, and the staff is excited to take care of these large and curious animals once more.
Training with the animals

Eva Bertilsson, renowned educator and behaviour specialist is visiting the Reykjavik Park and zoo between 10-14th of March.
The Weekend of December 6th to 8th

Refreshments now sold at the ticket office

The company Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur have sold their last hotdog at the park for the time being as refreshments will now be available at the ticket office.
Changes in admission and attractions open this coming weekend

The 1st of October admission prices at the park will change, as in other institutions within the Department of Culture and Sport in Reykjavik.
